SHELTON, CT (WFSB) -
Shelton police arrested a father for paying a teenage girl to fight another girl he believed was bullying his daughter.
Police said that an investigation revealed that 42-year-old Phillip Prokop of Old Coram Road in Shelton paid a teenager money to fight the 13-year-old alleged bully back in May.
During the fight, police said that Prokop grabbed another 13-year-old female to stop her from getting involved in the fight. The parents of both the 13-year-old victims refused medical attention for their children at the scene.
Prokop was charged with inciting injury to a person, risk of injury to a minor, and conspiracy to commit assault.
Prokop was released on $10,000 bond. He is due in court on Monday.
