MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) -
The suspect in the death of a Meriden convenience store worker has turned himself in to police.
According to officials, Frankie Resto turned himself in to police in Brooklyn, New York, around 11 p.m. Friday night.
Resto is accused of fatally shooting Ibrahim Ghazal at the E-Z Mart on East Main Street earlier this month, while robbing the store.
Resto is now charged with felony murder, first degree robbery, criminal possession of a firearm, and second degree larceny.
He is being held on a $2 million dollar bond.
Eyewitness News has learned that officials are now working to extradite Resto back to Connecticut.
