WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -
Waterbury police are investigating a vehicle versus motorcycle that left a Naugatuck man in critical condition.
Police were called to the intersection of Oak and Rose streets Friday night after Luz Mary Rivera-Diaz of Waterbury struck 28-year-old Alex Gridley of Naugatuck.
Rivera-Diaz was operating her 2000 Honda Accord when she turned left and collided with a motorcycle traveling south on Oak Street.
Rivera-Diaz was taken to Waterbury Hospital where she was treated and released for back and neck injuries.
Gridley was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of multiple injuries, including chest and internal trauma.
Gridley is currently listed in critical condition.
The crash is currently under investigation and no charges have been filed yet.
