Reported shots fired in New London

NEW LONDON, CT (WFSB) -

The New London police department reported hearing gunshots coming from the area of 163 Huntington Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night.

New London police said officers immediately responded to the location of the crime scene.

According to officials, no shooting victims were reported at the seen or at any nearby hospitals.

Detectives conducting the investigation found several shell casings from a handgun.

Anyone with additional information about this incident is asked to contact the New London Police Department Detective Division.
