Police: Man arrested after firing shots into the air

ENFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Enfield said they have arrested 31-year-old Christopher Graves after he fired several rounds into the air late Saturday night.

Police were called to the area of Prospect and Maple Street after they received numerous calls about shots being fired.

Police investigated the incident and located Graves.

Upon the execution of a search warrant of Graves' home on Fairview Avenue, police said they located a marijuana grow.

Further investigation into the incident shows that Graves fired the shot into the air while there was an infant nearby.

Graves is being charged with risk of injury to a minor, reckless endangerment, possession of a pistol without a gun permit, unlawful discharge, criminal possession of a pistol, possession with intent to sell marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school/daycare.

Graves is being held on $250,000 bond.
