WATERTOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Watertown police are expected to hold a press conference Monday morning to discuss their investigation into the deaths of two people found in a home.

Police have not identified the bodies yet, but neighbors tell Eyewitness News they are a woman in her 50's by the name of "Donna" and her son.

Police have said that it does appear both were murdered, but no suspects have been named at this time.

Officers were called to the home around 5:30 p.m. Saturday after a neighbor called to report a foul odor coming from the residence. Both bodies were badly decomposed, police said.

The bodies have been removed from the scene and transported to the office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsies.

Police issued an alert Sunday for a 2007 gray Lincoln Town Car that was missing from the home. The vehicle was located Sunday night on Terrace Avenue in Norwich, police said.

The police chief is expected to address members of the media Monday at 10 a.m. at the police department.
