FARMINGTON, CT (WFSB) -
Route 4 in Farmington was closed in both directions Monday afternoon after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street.
Route 4 was closed from South Road to the UConn Health Center entrance after the person was struck, allowing emergency crews to respond to the scene.
The name or condition of the person was not released by emergency officials.
The road was reopened before 4 p.m.
No other information was released.
