PD: Angry drunk woman bites mom, throws dog

GLASTONBURY, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Glastonbury said a local woman is facing charges after biting her mother and throwing a dog during a fight.

Glastonbury police said Lindsay Anderson, 20, was drinking and somehow got into a fight with her mother at their home on Sherman Road.

During the fight, police said, Anderson became so upset that she bit her mother and then picked up the family dog and threw it.

Anderson was arrested and charged with:

Violation of a protective order
Disorderly conduct
Assault in the third degree
Interfering with a 911 call
Cruelty to animals

She was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and was given a court date of July 16.
