Motorcycle crashes through window of Middletown apartment

MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Middletown police said a crash on South Main Street sent a motorcycle and its driver through the window of an apartment building Monday night.

Just before 8:30 p.m. a motorcycle was exiting the parking lot of 288 South Main St. at a high rate of speed, struck a vehicle and continued across the road, over the lawn of the Wilcox Apartment building and through a window.

Middletown police said the motorcycle and its driver came to a rest inside the apartment.

The driver of the motorcycle, who has been identified as Ryan Foell, 29, of Bartholomew Road in Middletown suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Hartford Hospital to be treated.

His condition remains unknown.
