Car, cruiser collide, sends car into nearby church

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Hartford police are investigating a crash that sent a car into a church.

The crash happened on Albany Avenue near Woodland Street early Friday morning.

According to officers on scene, the collision between the car and the cruiser sent the car crashing into nearby North United Methodist Church.

Police have not said if the car was being chased or what led up to the accident at this time.

There is no word on injuries.
