Bloomfield daycare reopens after power outage

BLOOMFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

Kiddie Academy Daycare in Bloomfield has reopened after being forced to close for the first part of Friday morning.

Employees at the daycare arrived to find the building without power, causing them to close until it was restored.

Power was restored to the daycare at about 8 a.m.

CL&P was reporting about 960 customers in Bloomfield without power due to an outage in town Friday morning.

There is no word on the cause of that outage.
