A popular skate park in Madison has been closed just as the summer gets into full swing.
The group that runs the park said the decision to permanently close it came because the vandalism problem was getting too out of hand.
The park in Madison is usually open all day and is a place where kids were able to run around and get some exercise.
But not anymore.
The Friends of Madison Youth, which runs the park, said graffiti at the park is just too ridiculous. The nonprofit, which helps keep young people with programs and activities in Madison even tried to put up a sign saying there were cameras, but vandals wrote "lies" and kept vandalizing.
The only decision left was to lock the place up.
For now the park will remain closed and the group will discuss getting security cameras before they even think about reopening it.

I first saw the headline early Tuesday on Real Clear Politics, a political news site where I generally start my morning. It's not where I expect to see a story on breast cancer.
