Barn fire reported in East Haven

EAST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

Firefighters in East Haven are battling a fire at the Neubig Farm on Barberry Road. The fire broke out shortly before 8 p.m. and crews were forced to call surrounding towns for mutual aid.

The North Branford Fire Department is assisting East Haven firefighters at the scene while crews from Branford have also responded to East Haven fire houses.

The fire is currently under investigation and the state fire marshal will be assisting East Haven fire officials.
