Man injured in overnight shooting in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A man was taken to the hospital after suffering several gunshot wounds in a shooting in Hartford's north end.

Police were called to 394 Garden Street, just after midnight Sunday morning, where they found a black male on the front steps suffering from four gunshot wounds to the left torso.

The man was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Police have not released the identity of the victim, but said he is a black male.

Police are still investigating the incident.

Authorities are searching for a suspect, who is described as a black male, wearing a royal blue T-shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hartford police.
