Westbrook could face additional charges

MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Five additional arrest warrants could be coming as early as next week in the criminal case against a popular doctor already accused of sexually assaulting three female patients.

Doctor Tory Westbrook made a court appearance in Middletown on Tuesday with his attorney, Norm Pattis.

That's where a state judge ruled all three of the initial arrest warrants against him will remain sealed.

State officials said those allegations involve three separate female clients who claimed they were inappropriately touched by Westbrook during exams at a Clinton Community Health Center.

Westbrook denies all of the allegations.

Court documents in regards to the case will remain sealed until Aug. 14.

Westbrook's attorney also stated he was made aware there could potentially also be a sixth warrant and maybe even more.

Calls to Clinton police were not returned.
