DANBURY, CT (WFSB) -
Emergency officials in Danbury said they were responding to a level 3 hazmat situation that was reported Wednesday morning.
The incident was reported at Bedoukain Research, located at 21 Finance Dr., and Danbury police said the road has since been shut down.
According to Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, some chemicals at the facility were mixed together causing a bad reaction.
According to Boughton, public safety personnel is at the scene investigating.
There was no word on injuries.
