FARMINGTON, CT (WFSB) -
A Bristol man was arrested after driving under the influence of heroin with his daughter in the car.
Farmington police said they received a report last Thursday evening that a man was driving erratically on Farmington Avenue.
When police found the vehicle at a local gas station, which was being driven by Rickie Haines, police said he was under the influence of, and was driving around with, heroin.
Also inside, police said, was his 5-month-old daughter.
Police arrested him and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, possession of narcotics and risk of injury to a minor.
He was ordered held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
