
The victim of a crash involving a Hartford police officer has died, according to Hartford officials.
The victim, identified as Anthony Mansfield, 50, of Hartford, was serious injured in the crash July 13.
"On behalf of the City of Hartford, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Anthony Mansfield's family for their loss," said Hartford Mayor Pedro E. Segarra and Police Chief James C. Rovella.
Rovella said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
"The Hartford Police Crime Scene Division, charged with investigating all motor vehicle accidents in the city, with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police and State's Attorney's Office, is investigating the incident," Rovella said.
