NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

New Haven police have charged a man with murder in connection with a shooting at a Burger King drive-thru on Monday night.

Quavon Torres is charged with murder after he and Donald Bradley, 59, got into some sort of fight outside the Burger King on Whalley Avenue.

When Bradley got out of his vehicle, police said Torres shot him. According to police, Torres fired at least five shots

It was unclear what the argument was about, but police said after the shooting Torres ran into the home he was staying at on Orchard Street and police surrounded it.

After a few hours, Torres voluntarily surrendered.

There were two other people in the car, according to police.

One, a juvenile, faces an interference with police charge and the other is being called a witness.

Police said the case was solved quickly because of the neighborhood cooperation.

Police said the incident remains under investigation.
