MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -
A babysitter accused of sexually assaulting two boys she was caring for has applied for a special treatment program, according to a court clerk.
Loni Bouchard, 20, has been accused of have a consensual sexual relationship with two teenage boys in her care.
The first arrest was made in July 2011 by Clinton police, and she was arrested a second time by Southington police after it was learned she was having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy there as well.
According to court documents, Bouchard kept a journal of the sexual encounters and some entries in it had entries such as, "I know there is a five-year age difference, but why does it have to matter? I don't care about the law. I just want to be with him and not have to hide it." Other entries state "why does age matter?" and "people don't understand."
Loni's mother, Kim, was also arrested after being accused of providing alcohol and marijuana to her daughter and the teens she was accused of having a sexual relationship with.
If Loni is accepted into the program and successfully completes it, it may help her avoid a possible conviction of charges including sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
