TORRINGTON, CT (WFSB) -
A serious crash closed a road in Torrington on Tuesday afternoon.
Litchfield County Dispatch officials said New Harwinton Road, also known as Route 4, was closed between Morningside Drive and Torringford West Street because of the crash.
Two LIFE STAR medical helicopters were called to the scene to take patients to a local hospital.
It was unknown how serious those injuries are.
The road was reopened a short time later.
