BERLIN, CT (WFSB) -
Officials confirm crews are on the scene of a fire at the Northeast Utilities headquarters in Berlin.
According to a dispatcher the fire is contained to an outside generator on the property and fire crews are on scene at this time.
Connecticut Light & Power spokesperson Mitch Gross said the fire was in a generator outside the Yankee Gas building on the property.
Gross said the Yankee Gas building was temporarily evacuated for the safety of the workers, however, they have since been allowed back in.
There were no injuries reported and the fire will not have any impact on service for customers.
