WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -
A West Haven man is under arrest after cutting his roommate's finger while he was sleeping.
Police were called to 79 Claudia Dr. for a report of an assault Tuesday night.
When police arrived, they found large amounts of blood on the floor and in the bathroom sink.
Police said 57-year-old Wayne Moore cut his sleeping roommate's finger, causing a laceration.
According to police, Moore was upset over the roommate's request to end their relationship.
Moore's roommate was transported to an area hospital and treated for his injury.
Moore was charged with assault and disorderly conduct. He was held on bond.
