Firearm discovered in woman's carry-on bag at Bradley

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) -

Connecticut State Police arrested a woman at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks after a firearm was found inside her carry-on bag.

Police said the woman, who has been identified as Aino Marjatta Marcotte, 66, of Crestview, FL, was stopped at a security checkpoint after an unknown object was seen inside the bag.

After searching the bag, a firearm was found inside.

The woman was then arrested and charged, and has been released on $500 bond.

She's expected to be in Enfield Superior Court on Aug. 8.
