The principal of an elementary school in Waterbury has resigned after being accused of forging teachers' signatures.
School officials said principal Donna Perreault stepped down last Friday after admitting she forged signatures of teachers on performance evaluations.
Perreault has been principal of the school since 1999 and was earning $111,000 a year.
So far no criminal charges have been filed.
