Lockdown lifted after suspicious powder was found in prison

MONTVILLE, CT (WFSB) -

A prison in Montville was in lockdown Thursday because of a suspicious powdery substance found in the mail.

Someone found the powder when opening an envelope at Radgowski Prison around 8 a.m.

State Police and emergency personnel responded to the scene to investigat the incident.
