Wilbur Cross Parkway reopened after tree falls across roadway

ORANGE, CT (WFSB) -

Crews were able to quickly remove a tree from the Wilbur Cross Parkway northbound lanes to get the road reopened.

A section of the Wilbur Cross Parkway in Orange was closed after a tree fell across the roadway between exits 57 and 58.

The tree was fully blocking all lanes in the northbound direction. However, crews were able to get the tree out of the roadway, and both lanes reopened a short time later.

There is a chance traffic may still be delayed in the area for a short time.
