GUILFORD, CT (WFSB) -
A teen from Guilford was killed Saturday morning, after being struck by a boat trailer that was towed by a car.
It happened around 4 a.m. Saturday morning on Boston Post Road, near the intersection of Flagmarsh Road.
Police have identified the victim as Jonathon B. McMahon, 19, of Guilford.
According to police, McMahon was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials are continuing to investigate and told Eyewitness News that the driver of the car that hit McMahon and a passenger in the car are both cooperating with authorities. Police said the driver voluntarily took a DUI breath test.
At this point, no arrest has been made and officials are still investigating.
Anyone with information about the deadly incident are asked to call Guilford police.
