Hit and run sends man to hospital in Holyoke

HOLYOKE, MA (WSHM) -

Holyoke police are investigating a hit and run tonight on the corner of Appleton and Oak St. that left a man with very serious injuries.

Police said they have found a car that fits some of the description of the car they believe was responsible.

The car had Colorado plates and police are investigating if this is the car that hit a 21-year old around 7:30 tonight.

Police say he is at Baystate Medical Center.

His injuries are non-life threatening.

Witnesses told CBS 3 Springfield the victim was riding his bike in an alley way when he was hit by the car.

 Police have yet to make an arrest.
