GLASTONBURY, CT (WFSB) -
A babysitter who was pulled over by police and charged with driving under the influence faced a judge in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday.
Glastonbury police said, 21-year-old Emily Flavell of Hebron, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation just before midnight July 16.
Police said when they stopped her they noticed she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In addition, police said they located prescription narcotics, which Flavell did not have a prescription for.
The 4-year-old boy, who Flavell was supposed to be babysitting at the time, was also found in the car.
Flavell is charged with risk of injury to a minor, driving under the influence, and possession of prescription narcotics.
Flavell is due back in court in October.
