Children found in home during narcotics search

MANCHESTER, CT (WFSB) -

Two children were found in a Manchester home during the execution of a narcotics search warrant.

Members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force were serving a search warrant at 18 Bretton Rd. after obtaining evidence of narcotics activity taking place at the home.

Police said when they entered the home they discovered marijuana, scales, packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia. 

In addition, police said two children were found in the home; the Department of Children and Families were notified.

Police arrested 36-year-old Ryan Carr, a resident of the home, and charged him with two-counts of risk of injury, possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carr is being held on a $10,000 bond.
