HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Dr. William Petit, the sole survivor of a horrific home invasion in Cheshire that left his wife and two daughters dead is expected to get married this weekend.
Petit and his fiancee, Christine Paluf will wed Sunday in an undisclosed location, according to the Hartford Courant.
In 2007, Joshua Komisarjevsky and Steven Hayes broke into the Petit home and killed Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her two daughters, Hayley and Michaela.
Petit was brutally beaten but managed to escape the home before Hayes and Komisarjevsky set the home on fire.
