BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) -
The Bridgeport Police Department is investigating a double shooting in the city that left one person dead on Thursday.
Police said the double shooting was reported in the 600 block of Hallett Street before 4 p.m.
Police said two young men were shot, but their identities have not been released.
Witnesses told police they saw a van speed away from the scene just seconds after the shooting, and police ended up locating it at a nearby housing complex.
Police would not say anything else about the van.
The incident is under investigation and police are still at the scene.
No other information was released.
