MANCHESTER, CT (WFSB) -
Friday marks two years since the deadly workplace shooting at Hartford Distributors in Manchester.
Omar Thornton is accused of killing eight of his co-workers before turning the gun on himself on Aug. 3, 2010.
Authorities said Thornton had been confronted about stealing beer from the workplace before the shooting.
Thornton's family claimed he was the victim of racism, but police said no evidence of that was ever found.
