Newington police searching for robbery suspects - WFSB 3 Connecticut

Newington police are searching for two armed robbery suspects.
According to police, two suspects tried to rob the 7-Eleven on New Britain Avenue just after 10 p.m. Thursday night.
One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, the other was armed with a knife, the clerk said. According to the clerk, the suspect with the knife came up behind him and held the weapon to his throat until he opened the cash register. The suspects then grabbed an unknown amount of cash and cigarettes then ran away, police said.
The store clerk was not hurt. The suspects are described as Hispanic males. They may be driving an older model dark sedan, police said.
