HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
A child fell from a second-floor window in Hartford on Friday afternoon.
Hartford police and other first responders rushed to the scene on Lisbon Street before 3 p.m. after receiving reports that a 9-year-old fell from the window.
Police said when they arrived the child was alert, but was in shock after falling nearly 30 feet to the ground below.
Neighbors said the children in the home are always supervised with an adult nearby so they were shocked to hear what took place.
The unidentified child was brought to Connecticut Children's Medical Center and the incident is being investigated.
No other information was released.
