Two Middletown residents facing drug charges

MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Two Middletown residents were arrested Friday night, after police said the two were selling cocaine from their home on South Main Street.

Tyron McQuillar, 35, and his wife Bourbon Walker-McQuillar, 30, are facing numerous charges including possession of crack cocaine, intent to sell within 1500 feet of a school, as well as possession of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school.

According to police, McQuillar tried flushing drugs down the toilet when officers arrived at his home. McQuillar then fought with officers and refused to be handcuffed.

He is now being held on a $250,000 bond.

Walker-McQuillar is being held on a $100,000 bond.
