Stamford man killed in motorcycle crash

STAMFORD, CT (WFSB) -

One man is dead after a motorcycle crash in Stamford on Saturday afternoon.

Police said a 25-year-old Stamford resident, who has not been identified, was killed after the motorcycle he was driving collided with another car that was pulling out of a business driveway.

It happened just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Canal Street.

The motorcycle driver suffered from critical injuries and was taken to Stamford Hospital, where police said he later died.

The driver of the car was not injured in the crash.

Officials said the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
