BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) -
A young girl from Bridgeport was struck by a stray bullet during a shooting that left a teenager dead, earlier this week.
Police officials told Eyewitness News that the 9-year-old girl was grazed by the bullet, but was not injured or taken to the hospital.
Officials did not say where the girl was struck.
Police said the girl was hit by the bullet during the same shooting that left a 17-year-old dead, and an 18-year-old injured.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Hallet Street.
According to detectives, this was Bridgeport's 15th homicide of the year.
