WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

West Hartford police arrested a man they said was using his cellphone to film up the skirts of customers at Stop & Shop.

Rodolfo Tamaniz-Cruz, 25, of West Hartford, was arrested Friday.

Police said a customer felt strange after a man in the floral department got too close to her, and she complained to the store manager.

The police were then called, and when officers arrived at the Farmington Avenue Stop & Shop, they said they found Tamaniz-Cruz with a backpack and two cellphones inside.

West Hartford police said Tamaniz-Cruz placed his cellphone into his backpack and would place it by the feet of women so he could see under the skirts of female shoppers.

In all, police said, there were 32 different images of different women on the phones.

Tamaniz-Cruz was arrested and is being held in jail on $75,000 bond.
