Two rescued at Sleeping Giant

HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) -

Hamden police said two people were rescued from Sleeping Giant State Park on Wednesday afternoon.

An emergency official at the scene said the rescues were not related to each other.

One of the people rescued suffered a minor ankle and hip injury, and the other a hand injury.

Both were brought to a local hospital to be treated.

No other information was released from police.
