EAST HAVEN, CT (AP) -
Emergency crews as well as the U.S. Coast Guard have rescued a missing female swimmer in the water of the Long Island Sound.
According to officials, the swimmer is a female of unknown age who was last seen in the water by her husband.
The East Haven Fire Department has several boats in the water currently, and is being assisted by the Coast Guard.
