HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) -

A firefighter accused of selling drugs is scheduled to be arraigned in Hartford Superior Court Thursday.

Police said 37-year-old Rafael Diaz was found to have cocaine, marijuana, drugs and ecstasy at his home on Douglas Street.

According to a police affidavit, an informant told investigators Diaz also sold drugs from the Franklin Avenue fire house.

Diaz worked primarily out of the Park Street fire house, police said.

Diaz is facing a number of drug charges, ranging from possession with intent to sell to operating a drug factory.

Diaz is currently on paid administrative leave.
