Norwich police say a city man was run over by a car when the driver tried to speed away during an argument.
Authorities say 36-year-old Shawn Schultz was injured Thursday afternoon and brought to The William W. Backus Hospital, where he's in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and police say the driver of the car is cooperating with them.
Officers responded to Sylvester Street shortly before 6 p.m. and found Schultz lying on the ground with multiple injuries. Police say Schultz got into an argument with the driver and was injured when he became entangled with the car as the driver tried to flee.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Norwich police.

I first saw the headline early Tuesday on Real Clear Politics, a political news site where I generally start my morning. It's not where I expect to see a story on breast cancer.
