HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) -
Hamden police will be holding a press conference Monday afternoon after a weekend shooting took the life of a 22-year-old man.
Police said James T. Dudley, 22, of Hamden, died after being shot in front of a home on North Street on Saturday night.
According to authorities, the shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. Saturday after Dudley allegedly had a dispute with another person.
Police told Eyewitness News that Dudley was shot several times and then taken to St. Raphael's Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said they have been following several leads, but no suspect has been named at this time.
The press conference will be held at 1 p.m. at the police department.
