NORTH CANAAN, CT (WFSB) -

State police troopers have arrested two North Canaan residents for allegedly growing more than 100 marijuana plants.

They say they received a harassment complaint against 27-year-old Edward Fuller.  When they arrived at his house, they found 8 ft. tall marijuana plants growing outside. Troopers say they found more plants growing inside the house, and even more growing on the property next to Fuller's. They seized 114 marijuana plants.

Troopers say Fuller admitted to growing the plants outside his house, and 41-year-old Ronanne Forcier admitted to being complicit in the operation.

Both were arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana greater than 1 KG, possession of more than 1 KG of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana greater than 4 oz., and possession of paraphernalia associated with operating a drug factory.

Both suspects were released on $5,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in court later this month.
