Gas spill reported in Litchfield

LITCHFIELD, CT (WFSB) -

Crews are working to clean up a fuel spill in Litchfield.

State police and DEEP officials were called to the scene in the area of West Street just before noon Sunday.

DEEP told Eyewitness News that a fuel tank delivery truck spilled more than 50 gallons of fuel after someone opened the wrong valve.
