MIDDLEBURY, CT (WFSB) -
Police in Middlebury are searching for a man they say entered the International Wine and Spirit Shop on StraitsTurnpike and fled with almost $500 in cash.
Police were called to the store at about 2 p.m. Sunday.
When police arrived, they immediately searched for the suspect.
Two police K-9s were deployed to help find the suspect.
Police were able to gather the suspect was picked up in the rear area of the plaza.
Police are now reviewing surveillance tapes from several businesses in the area.
The suspect is being described as a black male with a medium build.
The suspect was last seen wearing blue jean shorts and a black hoodie.
If anyone saw anyone suspicious or any suspicious vehicles in the area at the time of the robbery, they are asked to call Middlebury police at 203-577-4028.
