West Haven police investigating early morning armed robbery

WEST HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

West Haven police are investigating an early morning armed robbery that occurred at a Krauszer's Food Store.

Police said the robbery happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Krauszer's on Jones Hill Road.

According to the store clerk a man wearing a mask came into the store carrying a weapon and demanded money.

The suspect fled in a small black car with a few hundred dollars in cash and the clerk's cell phone.
