Members of the East Central Narcotics Task force have arrested a second person in just as many days for attempting to purchase marijuana from an ad placed on "Craig's List."
Police said 22-year-old Nicholas Fox, of Glastonbury, placed an ad on "Craig's List" looking to purchase marijuana. Officers responded and established a buy location at the McDonald's on Main Street in Glastonbury.
Officers set up surveillance at the restaurant Thursday and Fox was taken into custody without incident.
Fox is charged with criminal attempted possession of more than half an ounce of marijuana and given a $1,000 bond.
Just a day before, officers made a very similar arrest in the same McDonald's parking lot after, 22-year-old Orin Harris, of Bloomfield, also placed an ad on Craig's List looking to purchase marijuana.
Harris also was found to be in possession of Hydrocodone pills and was charged with the possession of narcotics, in addition to the possession of marijuana charge.
